apanese engineering consulting firm Kokusai Kogyo and Hanoi-based construction company FECON Corporation on May 31 exchanged a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in disaster prevention and road management. The Japanese company will introduce their technologies to the Vietnamese counterpart, as the two sides will consider joint businesses in infrastructure development in Vietnam.

FECON, established in 2004 has track record in various fields of construction such as transport, real estate, and energy, while Kokusai Kogyo has expertise in environment, anti-disaster measures and management of road assets, which are becoming major challenges in Vietnam.
