Azusa Sekkei Co. Ltd. has been awarded a contract of designing of a general hospital in Kien Giang Province, the South of Vietnam. It was selected among two other Japanese design firms through international bidding by Kien Giang Insurance Bureau, making the contract on November 20. This is Azusa Sekkei’s first project of building hospitals in Vietnam.

Located in Rạch Gia City, a capital city of Kien Giang that is expecting an economic development in the future, the hospital will be moved from the current place and built in the newly developed district in a larger scale. As a part of the overall plan with 2200 beds, Azusa Sekkei will design a hospital accommodating 1020 beds with total floor area of 82,450 m2. (2013/11/27)
