Japanese contractor Taisei Wins 62 Billion Yen Contract of Airport Terminal Building in Sri Lanka

Japanese construction company Taisei Corp. Announced on March 16 that it has won a contract to build a terminal building of Bandaranaike International Airport in Sri Lanka. The contract worth 62 billion yen was signed on March 12.

Airport and Aviation Services of Sri Lanka has been rehabilitating the nation’s transport hub airport to expand the passenger capacity to 15 million per year. Taisei which was also responsible for renovation work in 2007 was commissioned to build four-story terminal for a period of 36 months. (2020/03/17)
