Japan’s Daiwa House Industry, Fujita Unveil Plan of Super High Rise Hotel in Haiphong, Vietnam

Japanese housing developer Daiwa House Industry and construction contractor Fujita announced a plan to develop “Water Front City Project” consisting of two high rises in Hai Phong, a northern city of Vietnam. Chuo Vietnam, a subsidiary of the two companies will begin construction on June to construct a hotel and a long-term-stay hotel with opening aimed in 2020.

The 269-room Hotel Nikko Hai Phong will be managed by Okura Nikko Hotel Management, while management of the 182-rooms for long stay guests is to be commissioned to Daiwa Living Management. Japanese tourists and travelers on business trip are considered as targeted guests. The 39,000 m2 complex is designed by Asai Ken Architectural Research. Fujita Corp is responsible for construction.
